WealthAi launches AI agents that take control of client onboarding and KYC in a fraction of the usual time

New functionality uses AI agents to coordinate everything from client data and document collection to ID verification, PEP and sanctions checks, KYC and account verification.

London, 2 October 2026 – WealthAi, the AI operating system for wealth managers and advisers, has launched a new suite of AI agents designed to oversee the client onboarding and KYC process end-to-end.

New functionality uses AI agents to coordinate everything from client data and document collection to ID verification, PEP and sanctions checks, KYC and account verification

Whereas some AI tools allow wealth managers and advisers to automate individual elements of onboarding with AI in siloes, WealthAi's AI agents coordinate the entire process across clients, advisers, compliance and operations teams and the different systems involved.

WealthAi's agents collect client information and documentation, identify missing information, generate forms and initiate identity verification, PEP and sanctions checks, KYC and account verification, only bringing in human review and approval where required.

Client onboarding remains one of the most manual and fragmented parts of wealth management, often creating a poor client experience at the very earliest stages of a new partnership.

As part of the new capability, WealthAi has integrated with specialist KYC provider Tiller, combining WealthAi's AI agents and workflow orchestration with Tiller's identity verification and compliance technology. This allows WealthAi's agents to coordinate the onboarding journey while connecting into specialist verification services at the appropriate stages of the process.

Like all of WealthAi's functionality, WealthAi's onboarding and KYC tools are built specifically for wealth managers and financial advisers, taking into account the unique complexities of their client relationships. The functionality also operates across multiple jurisdictions to help wealth managers whose clients have financial interests in various regulatory systems.

Jason Nabi, CEO of WealthAi, said: "Onboarding is still absurdly manual in wealth management. Advisers and relationship managers can spend hours chasing information, moving between systems, filling in forms and coordinating with compliance before a new client is ready to go.

"The opportunity with agents isn’t simply to automate another KYC check. It’s to understand where a client is in the process, what’s missing and what needs to happen next – and then actually move that process forward.

"That’s the difference between automating a task and automating the process. We want the agents to take care of much of the admin and coordination, while bringing people in where their judgement or approval is actually needed."

WealthAi's onboarding and KYC agents connect directly into WealthAi's Client File and firms' existing internal systems, allowing information collected during onboarding to feed into the ongoing client record rather than having to be manually transferred or re-entered across different systems.

This launch follows a series of agentic functionality launches in WealthAi's OS so far this year, including WealthAi for Advisors and the Compliance Solution.
